Amazing! Another hit from Pioneer Woman!!! 1 lb of strawberries will not be enough. use at least 1.5 lbs. This went over BIG with my guests! I'll be making this again soon.
I prepared this for the kids for a small dinner party. I halved the recipe (used a 8" square brownie pan), and didn't bother using all the different cheeses...I used one of those 8oz Sargento 4-cheese Italian cheese bags, and I was good to go. This stuff went unbelievably fast, and the kids wanted seconds. Oh well, next time I won't halve it.
I also sauteed couple cloves of minced garlic along with the onion.
The adults I served it too loved them! My kids, not so much. Make sure to spread the filling evenly and don't make such a huge margin of dough. I made mine super carelessly, and ended up with big chunks of pizza dough on the sides.
Wow, thumbs up all around tonight! My MIL and mom, 2 kids and husband all loved how juicy and flavorful this was. Super simple too. The bacon-wrap really helps with the juiciness, so don't neglect this step.
I thought these were tasty, but a little too spicy for my kids. Make sure to not put in too much breadcrumbs/cracker meal, and press very firmly when shaping patties. Otherwise, they'll break apart when you place them in your pan.
Will become a solid standby, since we usually have a couple cans of salmon in the pantry. Remember to salt to taste. Recipe neglected to include. I think next time I'll roll in bread crumbs (if I have them). They were fine without though.

Looks like it took a long time to prepare, but it was one of the easiest "dinner party" dishes I've ever made. Trés français!

So easy! I'll season the skin and cavity with salt more heartily next time.

This was a hit with my guests! I only used 2 eggs and it seemed perfectly fine to me.
