Not too long ago I hosted a chick flick night -- with waffle sundaes! I made both plain and chocolate waffles and we topped them with ice cream, hot fudge, butterscotch, you name it. The ladies tremendously enjoyed their chocolate and sugar fix, and of course my kids were thrilled when I popped leftover chocolate waffles into the toaster for them the next morning!

If they're that good, I guess I need to get a waffle iron...

The kids LOVED it.
It would still be good without the chocolate chips. Since we topped it with confectioners sugar and maple syrup, we didn't need the extra sweet of the chocolate chips.
