Ingredients (yields Serves 4 servings)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons grated onion
- 2 tablespoons minced celery
- 2 cups shucked oysters
- 1 cups milk
- 2 cups half and half
- 1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/4 teaspoons pepper
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
Cooking Instructions
Melt butter in a medium saucepan. Stir in onions and celery (until tender). Add oysters in liquor, boil 3-5 minutes. Stir in milk, half and half, salt, pepper, and parsley. Heat through and ladle into bowls.
